Hello, I’ve received some news stamp set and I was doing my best to mount them. I always have a hard time with positioning abstract image or when there is an angle on the image I have to mount. I’ve found a trick to make it easier to do and I want to share it with you, hoping it will be helping you too.

But first, here is a little tip to avoid making mistakes when mounting a stamps set. First, cut out the stamp as close as possible from the image. I have to say that it was really easy with those because they were pre-cut as every other stamp set in the Holliday mini-catty. Ok, when you have done all the cutting, do a little puzzle putting each stamp with the bloc of the size that’s matching. This way, you will avoid having a bloc to small for the stamp you have left at the end.

I’m coming back now at my other problem I was talking to you about, mount stamp in the right angle or in the right way. Take your cut stamp and put it on his bloc (without removing the protective paper). Take the sticking image of your stamp and flip it so the sticky part is facing you. Now adjust the image on the stamp so they come one on top of the other. Use the logo with the company name to align your image and your stamp with the bottom edge. When you know where to place you stamp, remove the protective paper and reposition everything and then stick the stamp in place. Flip your bloc and stick the image of your stamp on the other side. It is requesting a little bit more work but the result is better.
