Recette de - caramel - recipe


I was asked at least twice for this recipe so here you go! I'm not sure if my translation is acurate for receip terms so if something does not make sens please let me know and I will fix it!

Caramel
4 cups of brown sugar
2 1/2 cups of corn syrup
1/2 pound of butter

Melt slowly on low fire and keep mixing. Let boil for 5 minutes and remove from the heat.

Add :

1 cup of cold water
1 can of Eagle brand milk

Stire well. Let cool down a bit. Put in jar and keep in the refrigerator


J'ai eu au moins deux demandes pour cette recette, je me suis dit que mes lecteurs francophones l'aimerait surement aussi alors la voici :

CARAMEL

4 tasses de cassonade
2 1/2 tasses de sirop de maïs
1/2 livre de beurre

Laisser fondre lentement sur feu doux en brassant, et ensuite bouillir 5 minutes; enlever du feu.

Ajouter :

1 tasse d'eau froide
1 boîte de lait Eagle brand

Bien mélanger. Laisser refroidir un peu, mettre dans des contenants et placer au réfrigérateur.

Thank you for sending me the recipe. I just think I can't get all the supplies here *sniff*. I am not sure that we have corn syrup here.. and eagle brand milk definitely not. I think I might have to try to hunt for another recipe somewhere.

It is already 2:25 here and I just updated my blog *grin*. It is so hot here that I have been staying up all night as it is the coolest time.
